Just wondering because I have back acne but its mostly because I have long hair. and I just bought the Neutrogena body wash for acne and I was wondering if any of you have used it.
does it work?
i use it and it works :)
it also helps to completely dry off your back before putting on clothes when you come out of the shower

I have just a bit of body acne on my upper back and sometimes my chest or shoulders. Is there a great Body acne wash that will still moisturize well too?
I have a great way for getting rid of this stuff. I read it online and it worked wonders for me.
Buy head & shoulders for men. The anti-dandruff one. Then every 3rd or 4th day or so, after you've finished washing yourself in the shower pour some in your hands, make a lather and then rub it over your shoulders etc. Dont rinse it off, just get out the shower and let it dry naturally. Then just put ur clothes on and complete the day as usual! It will take a week or two to start showing signs, but its incredible how it works.
I wouldnt do it too often because it is slightly harsh on the skin (definitely dont apply it to ur face..ur facial skin is way too thin for it). Also, when i first started using it my skin reacted and it got VERY dry for a few days. I left it alone until it was all cleared up (about a week), and then applied it again. It was fine after this.
I know this doesnt technically answer your question, but i thought if u get rid of it then u wont HAVE to find a wash for it!
Good luck.

I was wondering does any store in Brentwood Mall or Metrotown sell body wash for acne on the back or chest (none of this using lotion after showering or dont wear tight-clothing bs). Can you be specific in telling me which store sells it either within Brentwood or Metrotown. Also, for those who have used any, what would you recommend?
If you cant think of any in Brentwood or Metro, can you tell me a near-by place in which i can get them.

All I can find is acne body wash, but is there a special cream or something available at stores, too? What is it and where did you find it? I have been using Differin already.
I agree with the previous answer, give AcneFree a shot. I use it on my face and recently started using it on my chest as well, it helped loads. It isn't too expensive either so even if it doesn't work for you, you are only out five or six bucks (don't bother with the kits just get the big bottle of "Step One" Purifying Cleanser).
Good luck!
edited to add: I buy AcneFree at Target but I have seen it at Wal-Mart and Walgreens as well.

I've been usinga Panoxyl soap bar to clear up acne on my face and back and it worked well but it dried out my skin a lot. I'm almost out of it so I decided to try something else so I bought Clerasil face wash. It says not to use with other acne medications. I used the Panoxyl today, and want to use this tonight ... will that be ok?
Also, I heard that I shouldn't mix acne body wash with regular body wash. Is that true?
proactive didnt work for me. im on acne medication right now that my insurance pays for. go see ur dermatoligist and ask for erythromycin. it has really helped me alot. i also use clinique skin care and neutrogeana body scrub for my acne on my chest and back. you could be allergic to certain foods so get an allergy test to see if you are. eating something you are allergic to could cause you to break out. also drink lots of water and stay away from stress. that helps alot. and if you workout make sure to shower after so ur pores dont get clogged.

How To Get Rid Of Chestne (And Backne) The Frisky
As the Daily Mail so nicely pointed out, Blake Lively ‘s got some concealer on her chest (check it out above)—and what, pray tell, is she covering up? No idea, but when I try to throw cover-up on my chest it’s for one reason—chestne. (Acne on your chest for those not occasionally plagued by it.) It’s the annoying little skin secret you don’t hear about much, but loads of people suffer from it. Fortunately, I’ve got a few tricks and preventative measures you can try out to get rid of it. Blake, listen up!
My first to-do: always shower right after a workout. Like, immediately. You can’t have that sweat sitting on your skin and getting all in-between your skin and sports bra. Two other shower tricks? Switch to body wash that contains salicylic acid. I love Mario Badescu’s AHA Body Wash or Neutrogena’s Body Clear Pink Grapefruit Body Wash .
Also, make sure you lift your hair off your back and chest after you rinse your conditioner off. (Any leftover conditioner goop that might be on your skin can clog your pores. Ick.) You can try astringent pads—they’ll help lift off the dead skin cells and left-over debris that might be hanging out on your skin. Or, in place of the pads, some people just use a cotton ball dipped in apple cider vinegar. (I’ve never tried it, but some peeps swear by it.)
And an obvious tip: treat your breaking-out chest just like you would your breaking-out face—smear on a pimple cream before bed. (But beware of staining your clothes or bedsheets. Look for one with salicylic acid—not benzoyl peroxide—since you won’t have to worry about it staining!) [ Daily Mail ]

Just how good is Tea Tree Oil?
Tea tree oil, also known as melaleuca oil, is often used as an essential oil for a variety of ailments. Extracted from the leaves of a plant native to Australia, the pure form of the oil is very strong and usually diluted for use in cosmetics and medicines. Historically, tea tree oil got its name because the leaves of the melaleuca alternifolia plant were first steeped as a tea. Traditionally, the leaves were used topically for treating burns, lacerations, and infections.
Tea tree oil has been effective in helping or healing many maladies from athlete’s foot and acne to dandruff, nail fungus, eczema, ringworm, and even annoyances like lice and mosquito bites. This antiseptic, antiviral, and antifungal oil is wonderful for stopping pain and irritation while providing a soothing disinfectant for your skin. For acne sufferers, tea tree oil has been proven great for killing the bacteria and flushing out the toxins while keeping the skin’s natural oils without over-drying. For helping coughs and colds, tea tree oil helps to break up mucus.
As an essential oil used in aromatherapy, tea tree oil is found in many face and body creams, soaps, lotions, hair products and candles. Even though tea tree oil is a natural product, there have been studies done to prove its effectiveness as a treatment for certain ailments.
A controlled trial investigated three groups with athlete’s foot. Out of 158 sufferers, one group used 25 percent tea tree oil solution, the second group worked with 50 percent, and the final group was the placebo. Used twice daily for four weeks, the 50 percent solution group showed 64 percent cured in relation to only 31 percent in the placebo group. Another trial used tea tree oil to fight acne and it was tested against benzoyl peroxide and had fewer skin side effects overall but both groups showed significantly less skin irritations, inflammation, and breakouts.
Natural health products have been more popular in recent years and because they are branching out of their niche environment, more scientific studies are being conducted in order to test these natural products on conditions and diseases we have yet to find cures for. Tea tree oil has not been forgotten and emerging information is making headlines due to a rising health outbreak in the United States.
