idk about the nutrogena wave but one that works the best is noxema. you put it on in the morning, midday, and night. At night it works the best, if yoy had a break out, just put some on what about five miniutes and then rinse go to sleep right after that and in the morning your face will be clear again.

What is the best acne cleanser for dry skin?
I have really dry skin and little ance. I use proactive every night becasue if i use it in the morning my skin gets to dry. I would like a good ance cleanser to use during the day or after excercse that will help clear acne but wont overdry. hope you can help!
Also I would use this in the shower...so a single cleanser would work best for me.
I use clean and clear daily astringent!!!

And when should you use each? Should you use the acne cleanser and then immediately following use a moisturizer? or what? Is emu oil a good moisturizer?
use the cleanser every morning and night. follow the cleanser in the morning with a moisturizer (don't use animal ingredients like emu oil..its not very good for acne)I suggest a grapeseed oil because its an astringent (it tightens your skin, heals acne and kills bacteria..and yes you do need oil for your face even if you have acne...just not mineral or animal oils) and at night do not use a moisturizer. the nighttime is when your skin is trying to heal itself and anything put on it is just going to clog your pores and you'll wake up with more.

What is a good acne cleanser with benzoyl peroxide in it?
I use the clean and clear continuous control acne cleanser that has benzoyl peroxide in it, but it is no longer effective in getting rid of my acne. So those of you who use a acne cleanser with benzoyl peroxide in it, say what brand it is and how well it works for you.
I am looking for a different brand to get rid of acne.
Benzoyl peroxide is a really strong ingredien and may cause with time irritation and overdries your skin. Why is it necessary to get specific acne cleanser for acne-prone skin?
I always thought that acne is caused by extra oil on face with dirt or bacteria.
Why can't mild gentle cleanser with oil free lotion work for most people as long as you keep your face clean. What else is causing people acne that you must have the salicylic acid or Benzoyl Peroxide to dry it out?

i don't think leaving it on for two minutes would be more beneficial than simply washing thoroughly and then rinsing...
UNLESS it says so in the instructions. then i guess so.
