I have adult acne. I use ProActive but I feel like it is too harsh and it just pushes zits back under the surface.
Try the stuff they have at Origins. They're organic and semi-lux as well.

ORGANIC acne help? Only interested in organic treatments please.?
This is bad cystic adult acne. I am not willing to put anymore harsh manmade crap on my face.
Burt's Bees products work really really well and they do not irritate your skin. They make a Tomato soap for acne prone skin, as well as a tomato toner. I have used their mask, that you have to mix yourself which takes some getting used to, but boy that is the best mask I have ever used. They also make a herbal blemish stick that you rub on your acne, and it helps it speed up the pimple healing process. I noticed that when I started using Burt's Bees, my skin starting "purging", getting worse before it got better. It's now back to normal. They are products made from natural ingredients and they work wonders.

What is the best acne rosacea treatment?
(natural organic approach preferred)
Acne rosacea is different for every person. You first have to be diagnosed, then find your "triggers". These are foods or other substances that make your acne inflame. The process can be time consuming and difficult, but once you find your triggers, its just a matter of avoiding them. Common triggers are stress, alcohol, caffeine, tree nuts, citrus, excessive sunlight, harsh cleansers, perfumes.
Good luck and hurry, untreated rosacea gets worse as you get older. I should know, I have rosacea.

How do i get rid of my acne?
I am a jamaican and i have acne and i'ved tried so many treatments but they never work.I really would like to know if there are any home made or organic treatments/preparations i could use.The artificial chemicals are just not cutting it plus i dont have the money. So either way i'm stuck with what i can eat or grow in my backyard. Please help me!
talk to your doctor about dioxycyclene. it is an antibiotic that really does help. also, there are perscription strength topical creams that he may also perscribe. they are really helpful.
your diet can have an effect on the quality of your skin. be sure you are eating lots of leafy greens, and your veggies. most importantly, you need to be getting 8 glasses of water, per day. this really, really helps. helps keep your blood clean. if your pee is dark, you are not getting enough water, and really need to increase your intake (and reduce caffiene intake. this dehydrates you and makes your skin worse!) one of the biggest skin issues can be sovled by eating less junk food, and more veggies. they help keep your skin clear. give it a shot for, oh, a month, and see if it makes a difference. it will. keep up on it, and you will notice a difference. get at least 64 ounces of water per day, and this will be most beneficial.
you may also want to wash 3 times a day with clearisil. once before school, once after school, and once before bed. massage it all over your face for 30 seconds. in your trouble spots, focus for 30 seconds per spot. it helps. i swear it does. you may want to use baking soda as your exfoliant 2-3 times per week. (no more! it makes it worse, although im not sure why) mix enough with water to make a thick paste, and massage all over your face, particularly trouble spots, for 30 seconds per area. (the 30 seconds really helps me to know that i'm getting it clean, and not just rinsing quickly.)

Would you recommend Faerie Organic Minerals? Where in New York can I buy it? Is it easy to find in stores?
Also, what do you recommend for dark acne marks? What's a good on the spot acne treatment? What's a good eyeliner and mascara to make my eyes bigger w/o the smudge and to make my lashes appear longer and thicker. Is h2o plus a good facial wash for acne-prone skin?
No, I would NOT recommend faerie organic minerals. It is chalk like and doesn't cover AT ALL. It won't stay on no matter what. You can get that exact same makeup for a fraction of their cost anywhere. Bare Escentuals is the best hands down. Lasts all day!
Benefits Boi-ing will cover anything.
Diorshow mascara will give the false eyelash look.
skinny Dipping: Natural Skin Care Inside Cosmeceuticals.com
There are so many components to consider when choosing an effective skin care regimen. The most obvious question is, “Does it work?” Does this product moisturize my skin, clear my acne, reduce my wrinkles, etc. One big factor to aging is sun care. Over exposure to the sun causes wrinkles and the appearance of aging. Consumers are aware of this, along with other potential damaging side effects of too much sun. As a result, consumers are looking for products that incorporate SPF into their foundation or moisturizer. Consumers are also looking to be the “fairest one of all” in every mirror medium, including their food. Mintel Beauty Innovation reported global food and drink product launches with a 'beauty enhancing' claim increased by 306 percent from 2005 to 2008. And in 2009 alone, almost 300 food and drink products with a “beauty enhancing” claim were launched.
A shift toward natural ingredients is also taking place. There is a demand for products that are paraben-free and use natural ingredients such as vitamin C, resveratrol and essential oils. “Most of the functional qualities delivered by synthetic ingredients can be derived from natural products,” said Andree Falardeau, president and founder of Canus Goat's Milk skin care. “Benzoic acid and sorbic acid, for instance, are natural preservatives that can be used instead of parabens. We use potassium sorbate and citric acid as other natural preservatives as well. We can also get sudzing qualities from palm or coconut oil, instead of the synthetic sources for sodium lauryl sulfate.”

From One nurse - Eczema Treatment With Coconut Oil
Eczema (or dermatitis) is a chronic disease of the skin that is usually characterized by itchy rashes (these rashes can be red, scaly, dry, and / or leathery.) It includes a variety of infections, on the outer Part of the skin. It is also known as atopic eczema, atopic dermatitis and infantile or baby eczema.
For the non-systemic or local causes of eczema such as contact dermatitis, you want to avoid your skin comes into contact with the offending item. Sometimes you have to do a little detective work to find out what's going on. The most common contact dermatitis offenders include jewelry, perfumes, chemicals in cosmetics, shellac in mascara, lipstick, nickel (in jewelry-bras-eyeglasses, etc.), lotions, soaps, fabric softener sheets, pesticides from contact around the lips, mouth and chin, latex gloves, latex balloons, latex bandages, tomatoes, etc.
Once the skin is exposed to one of these triggers, it releases chemicals, climbing to the surface of the skin, which causes the patient to itch, sometimes plentiful. The eczema creams on the market today are often used for both skin hydration and reduce the inflammation, but coconut oil is better to use a cheap and reliable home remedy.
The condition called Irritant contact dermatitis is due to contact with a substance that one could be exposed to daily, such as soaps, detergents and chemicals. (more…)
