Hi i was juat wanting to know what types of body creams are the best for dry sensitive skin, and actually do what they are suppose to do and have you notice an effect and change in your skin from using them. Thanks.
AVON BE KISSABLE!
Trust me, I have tried almost everything that is meant to take care of dry skin. In London, the water and weather is crap, hence I developed bad dry skin... Having tried Avon Be Kissable cream, I haven't gone back. Another one I strongly recommend is Palmers Cocoa Butter. Use it when you want a calming effect especially on your heels or the entire foot.
But all day moisturizer- Avon Be Kissable.

What are the differences between body lotions and body creams?
Body lotion can be poured on the hands. This thin lotion is for everyday use to help moisturize and condition the to keep it looking healthy and radiant. Body cream is thicker than lotion, and was deliberately created for those rough patches, like elbow, knees, and heels. Body cream is designed to soothe the driest areas of our skin.

What people do when creams (cold creams, body lotions, massage cerams et al) solidify during winters?
I need feedbacks on what people do to warm up the creams and other similar products? Is it a common problem?
Also would you like to warm up the cream or lotion before applying it? Would that be a feel good factor?
Close them tightly and float them in the tub while you bathe. Then they will be nice and warm, and softened, when you get out. If you don't have a tub, use the kitchen or bathroom sink.
I would not microwave them, or heat them on the stove.

What are the most effective cellulite body creams??
For all over the body?
I just asked my wife about this who's been trying to fight this forever, especially since our kids were born, and she's done some extensive research
She says that definetly the best way is through diet so you should always try that first but if you're in a huge hurry, and are adamant about using a cream she recommends that people try Revitol....
One major reason it's so good is because of it's natural ingredients that seem to absorb into the body, and isn't greasy like most. None work right away but this seems to have worked the fastest, and she's right because I'm the one looking at her...
Plus, it has alot of concentrated caffeine which is supposedly supposed to help....
Also (she just looked it up) it's got Retinol A which is huge factor in fighting cellulite and making the skin healthy as well. I guess all these ingredients working together kick some major butt...
Hope that helps

what kind of face creams as well as body creams are best to use while im pregnant and what about soap?
Im worried about all the chemicals and toxins that are in creams and lotions and if they will effect my pregnancy. i use a toner that has salacylic acid in it and soap by clinque and i use a herbal fairness cream on my face with SPF. and coco butter on my arms and legs. is this all safe. and what about scrubing my face and shampoos
Try to stick too creams that your skin are already used to as your body can become very sensitive during pregnancy. Boots do a fab range called pregnecare which caters especially for skin whilst carring your baby. As for soaps use something that smells lovely & relaxes you cos trust me towards the end of the pregnancy you'll need too be as chilled as you can be. Good luck.

How Long Do Bath and Body Works Body Creams Last?
I don't mean how long the scent lasts. I mean how long does the tube body cream last.
About 20 minutes. But my boyfriend uses it pretty hard. He says it's becuse he doesn't want to get blisters but I think he just gets it too hot and it wears out.
Peeling potato from your skin care products Truth In Aging (blog)
Better known as a starchy side dish than a skincare ingredient, potatoes are a turkey’s most loyal posse on the Thanksgiving table. But do they also warrant a place in your cosmetics? Potatoes are stuffed with benefits to help you achieve clearer and younger-looking skin. Its abundant vitamins and minerals (potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, vitamin B, and vitamin C among them) can be just as nourishing for your skin as your body. Should you be telling your skin to eat its veggies too?
Believe it or not, your skin may already be consuming potatoes behind your back. A couple of popular ingredients in skincare products are derived from the humble potato. Maltodextrin , a polysaccharide extracted from potatoes (as well as rice and corn), binds to other compounds and helps stabilize cosmetic formulas. But its uses don’t stop there. In 2002, Unilever filed a patent submitting that maltodextrin enhances the anti-aging activity of hydroxy acids and reduces skin irritation associated with weak carboxylic acids.
Another cosmetic component that can have roots in the potato are glycoproteins, created when a protein links with a carbohydrate. These cell-to-cell communicators play a critical role in stimulating and renewing cells damaged from environmental stresses. Though glycoproteins are listed in such anti-wrinkle products as John Masters Organics Mandarin Maximum Moisture and Bliss The Youth As We Know It Concentrate , there is no definitive evidence that these cell-stimulating ingredients work when applied topically.

Just how good is Tea Tree Oil?
Tea tree oil, also known as melaleuca oil, is often used as an essential oil for a variety of ailments. Extracted from the leaves of a plant native to Australia, the pure form of the oil is very strong and usually diluted for use in cosmetics and medicines. Historically, tea tree oil got its name because the leaves of the melaleuca alternifolia plant were first steeped as a tea. Traditionally, the leaves were used topically for treating burns, lacerations, and infections.
Tea tree oil has been effective in helping or healing many maladies from athlete’s foot and acne to dandruff, nail fungus, eczema, ringworm, and even annoyances like lice and mosquito bites. This antiseptic, antiviral, and antifungal oil is wonderful for stopping pain and irritation while providing a soothing disinfectant for your skin. For acne sufferers, tea tree oil has been proven great for killing the bacteria and flushing out the toxins while keeping the skin’s natural oils without over-drying. For helping coughs and colds, tea tree oil helps to break up mucus.
As an essential oil used in aromatherapy, tea tree oil is found in many face and body creams, soaps, lotions, hair products and candles. Even though tea tree oil is a natural product, there have been studies done to prove its effectiveness as a treatment for certain ailments.
A controlled trial investigated three groups with athlete’s foot. Out of 158 sufferers, one group used 25 percent tea tree oil solution, the second group worked with 50 percent, and the final group was the placebo. Used twice daily for four weeks, the 50 percent solution group showed 64 percent cured in relation to only 31 percent in the placebo group. Another trial used tea tree oil to fight acne and it was tested against benzoyl peroxide and had fewer skin side effects overall but both groups showed significantly less skin irritations, inflammation, and breakouts.
Natural health products have been more popular in recent years and because they are branching out of their niche environment, more scientific studies are being conducted in order to test these natural products on conditions and diseases we have yet to find cures for. Tea tree oil has not been forgotten and emerging information is making headlines due to a rising health outbreak in the United States.
