I don't have time in the morning to put body cream on my legs and arms. My skin is so dry it's actually painful! I need a body wash that would help me feel as if i did put body cream on my skin.
I had the same problem in the winter. I use Oil of Olay Body Ribbons or whatever it's called. You can get it at any grocery, wal-mart or target store. It actually moisturizes so well I can't use it in the summer or it makes me too oily.

My doc thinks that I use detergent for my bra that is causing my breasts/nipples to be irritated or the soap I use is causing it. I have switched to baby detergent and also chose a gentle liquid body wash. Any suggestions on gentle body wash thats safe to use would be great.
Your sensitive skin sounds just like mine. For laundry, I use Arm & Hammer detergent. I don't know why, but it doesn't irritate my skin. A friend told me it was because of the baking soda thing, it's a natural cleaner. For a gentle body wash, I use Aveeno liquid body wash with lavender. For a body lotion, I use Aveeno daily moisurizing lotion. It's unscented & has natural colloidal oatmeal. For bath soap, you might try Ivory, or Dove cool moisture beauty bar. Blessings!

I have really sensitive skin that dries up and itches if I use a body wash that is too harsh. What's a good body wash that smells good and helps with dryness?

Dove body wash for sensitive skin is great. Gentle on dry skin, but contains a light clean scent.
If you don't like that then I would suggest trying soaps formulated for babies b/c they're not as harsh as other soaps.
Vegetable based soaps are also great too. These can be found at organic markets like Whole Foods.

I love after taking a shower the way my skin smells from my body wash but the smell never lasts long, is there a body wash that smells really nice and the smell stays on your skin for awhile?
Go to the body shop.... they have way lots of body wash that smells great,!!!

Just in case I didn’t have you at “smells like chocolate”, I can tell you that the Body Wash/Bubble Bath is a rich formula that lathers well and leaves a hint of yummy smell on your skin after it’s washed off. The Body Creme is a mid-weight moisturizer that smells faintly of chocolate. The moisturizer does a great job keeping your skin soft and the chocolate smell stuck around for hours. I would say that it’s a guilt-free indulgence, but it really just sent me to the cupboard to scrounge up some hot cocoa.
Just about anyone and great for stocking stuffers: the Travel Kit. I reviewed the Travel Kit this past summer. Review: Tiny Tillia Body Wash
I have a 14-year-old stepdaughter, so anytime I see something cute or girly in the way of soaps, make-up and such, I think of her. It’s hard to get inside the head of a 14-year-old, isn’t it? When I asked her what she wanted for Christmas, I got “clothes and gift cards.” Helpful, eh? But Christmas or not, when I heard about these Tiny Tillia plush stuffed animals that come holding a small bottle of Head to Toe Wash, I thought it would be right up her alley. Tiny Tillia is a new line of products from London-born designer Tiffany Lerman.
The GOOD: The one I received was a little lamb wearing a bright blue and green striped shirt (pictured). The lamb could not have been more soft and was downright huggable. My 10-month-old daughter kept trying to steal it off my desk. The body wash bottle was a nice small size (4 oz) with a light, non-overpowering scent. Two varieties are available: Tropical Blast and Flower Power. The wash is paraben free and contains aloe vera extract, Vitamin E and other essential oils.
The BAD: Although a popular item that has been featured in numerous magazines (Lucky, InStyle, Child and Variety to name a few), it is a bit hard to track down. Only one not-convenient location in NJ sells the brand, although you can order online.
MONEY MATTERS: The plush character and body wash set sells for $12.99. The wash can also be purchased by itself in a variety of sizes.

Cate says: I love that these items are safe for kids and adults alike because it totally cuts down on the amount of bottles I need to have perched on the sides of our bathtub. I like how the scent is noticeable, but doesn’t knock you over. It produces a nice, reasonable lather … not so much that you’re swimming in foam, but enough to make you feel clean. The kids in the house are all suckers for stuffed animals, and this was one of the softest we’ve felt in a long time, so that was just an added bonus. Color us new fans of Tiny Tillia.
