I am going camping soon in bear territory in Northern California. I have heard that bears are attracted to scented lotions and shampoo. I am really into bath and body work, so most of the body and hair products I use are very organic and smell like the real thing. Like any other camper I do not want to be attacked by a bear.

Yes, that's true. I remember clearly when I went camping up to Palomar Mountains in Southern CA that we were told to try and use fragrance-free products because bears are attracted to the faintest smell of shampoo. They're also attracted to sweet smells, so don't let candy laying around.

You get chicks like me. quit generalizing we don't all foof ourselves up, I much prefer sleep in than waste my time putting lotion on. And you find an unscented body wash, bars of soap get pretty gross in their little containers getting lugged between a dorm room and a shower.

My mother uses oxygen and cannot use oil products for safety reasons. Where can I find scented body lotions for her after her bath.

i really like scented body lotions/creams like the ones from bath and bodyworks, but i have atopic dermatitis and i heard that i should avoid it. should i really junk all my scented lotions or is there still a possibility that i can use it?
i already know that its a no-no but it doesn't seem to trigger any allergic reaction to my skin, so does this mean that its okay for me to use it?

bath set in this scent on ebay but someone bought it before I had a chance to. I love yummy scented lotions and was just wondering if anyone has a clue where these can be purchased(online or otherwise)

ps-I am also interested in the Jolly Rancher, Sweet Tarts, and Twisler candy scented lotions too
