I am a 21 year old female. As far as a daily routine, this is as follows. Every morning, I take a shower and I wash my face. I apply my make-up, do my hair and I'm off for the day. At the end of the day I floss and brush my teeth then I wash my face and call it a day.
I haven't done much studying in the way of facial maintenance but I know the basics. If you don't take care of your face by keeping it clean then the pores on your face will clog causing unsightly pimples.
However, I must be doing something wrong here because I still get pimples. I mean, there's a time where for about 2 weeks my skin will be clear, then for the next 2 weeks my face explodes with about 4 pimples, some smaller and some painfully larger. For these days I use a spot treatment, it's called "Clearasil Ultra, Vanishing Cream Treatment". However, this product takes a long time to completely get rid of the pimple.
As far as Neutrogenaâs Oil-Free Acne Wash, it leaves my face dry and moisture less.
Iâm sick of putting so much effort towards my face and Iâm getting nothing in return. My pores are huge, my skintone uneven, and for half of each month Iâm spending twenty minutes a day trying to camouflage it.
Does anyone have any advice or can recommend any products that will do everything I want it to do?
1)Keep my face clear of pimples
2)Restore an even skin tone
3)Reduce the size of my pores.
4)Possibly suggest a different routine that may be more effective.

I'm so glad you asked this! I looked online for the same reason several months ago. I found Allure Magazine's Best of Beauty list. They put it out every year. I pasted the link for you below. I haven't tried everything on the list, but the ones I have tried are great and I found several products that I will use again.

so two questions here really
To combat premature aging:
-Eat well/exercise. That's not facial care, but it helps.
-Baby your face after shaving with a moisturizer.
-Use a daily moisturizer with at least SPF 15 moisturizers and UVA/UVB protection to prevent lines/wrinkles.
-Exfoliate sometimes and if you feel necessary, use an eye cream (honestly, though, that's going into metrosexual territory)
Applying self-tanner:
-Exfoliate
-Clean skin
-Moisturize to prevent dry patches (dry patches absorb more tanner so they become darker than surrounding skin)
-Apply self-tanner
-Make sure you have all the visible parts on you covered (ie, face and neck)

Before we start with the proper daily step-by-step skincare routine, you'll need to know her skin type. How you care for your skin is utterly dependent on the type of skin you have: oily, normal/combination, dry, sensitive or sun- damaged.

WASHINGTON — They call it the "Botax." The White House and Senate Democrats have turned to a proposal to tax breast implants, tummy tucks, wrinkle-smoothing injections and other procedures as they search for ways to pay for costly health care overhaul plans.
Vanity was an easy target as lawmakers scraped for cash for the nearly $1 trillion plan to expand health care to millions of Americans who lack insurance. But it's no joke to the drug makers and people who perform the cosmetic nips and tucks. And they're fighting back.
Skin-smoothing Botox injections could be hard-hit. There were some 4.7 million last year and an average cost per visit of about $400, some including several injections.
"It is a random hit on an easy target that is only punitive and not corrective," said Caroline Van Hove, a spokeswoman for Allergan Inc., the maker of Botox Cosmetic. "The bottom line is that taxing cosmetic procedures is unnecessarily punitive on people who have merely decided to enhance their appearance."
At issue is a proposal in the 10-year, nearly $1 trillion health care draft unveiled by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., that would slap a 5 percent excise tax on elective cosmetic surgeries and procedures. The plan, projected to raise $6 billion, wouldn't apply to surgery to fix a deformity or injury, but would include procedures such as face lifts, liposuction, cosmetic implants or teeth-whitening.
The plastic surgeons may have seemed like an appealing bunch to pick on given that they had already been skeptical of the Democrats' overhaul proposal. But they say it will be a blow to countless American women — of every income level.
