Can i use hair removal creams during pregnancy only on hands and legs?
I have a doubt that can i use hair removal creams? I'm prgnant now. If i can use which one is the best? I'm using Veet (Before pregnancy). Plz suggest me........
Are you serious? Does it say consult a physician if pregnant? I think you've taken this whole pregnancy thing a bit too far. Unless it has a seriously foul and strong odor like ammonia or bleach does, it is fine. I mean it is the stuff you EAT and TAKING MEDS that should concern you.

Are vaginal creams safe during the first trimester of pregnancy?
I have been diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and I am 11 weeks pregnant. The doctor prescribed Gynazole 1 cream, Clindesse 2 % after a week and antibiotics for 7 days. I just want to know if it is safe to use the creams this early in pregnancy.
yes this is safe the other oral med which is flagel (the generic brand) can be toxic to your infant if taken so vaginal is great

What did you use to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy? Creams, exercise, etc...be specific?
I know there is no way to completely eliminate the chance of stretch marks but I have always had a really great looking flat stomach and I'm really not excited about my belly looking like i was attacked by a tiger after my baby is born! lol I swear im not trying to sound like that's all I care about either...after all my husband and i planned the pregnancy but i do want to be able to show my stomach off again..lol
My mother did have stretch marks, so naturally I assumed I would have them also , although I prayed that I did not get them. I simply soaked myself in baby oil afer ever shower. (I think I went trhough two of the larger bottles) I would just put as much on my stomach as could I stand. I ended up with not one stretch mark!!!! GOOD LUCK ! And Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

I also have always been told that Clearasil can be harmful to the unborn child. Don't use it!!
Seabreeze always gave me a rash, and it smells bad.
I have also used teatree products - they've got a really good gentle face wash.
I normally use Oil of Olay beauty wash. They now have a day lotion if you have dry skin, with a light spf of 15. Being pregnant, women are also sun-sensitive! I have very sensitive skin, and get rashes from harsh irritants on my skin anyways.
The biggest key, especially for pregnant women in the summer - is to drink plenty of water. Water helps keep everything in motion, and hydration is the biggest key to a healthy pregnancy. Not to mention helps clear up the skin! I've always been told try to drink 8 oz every hour during the day. Dehyrdation causes dry skin, dry mouth, nausea, cramping, and constipation. Not to mention heat stroke is very harmful to the baby! Keep your body gears running, and your skin clear - stay hydrated!!

In what month of pregnancy should I start to use the creams to prevent stretch marks??
I started using cocoa butter lotion when I found out I was pregnant about 8 weeks. I used it everyday and have no stretch marks. I would consult your Dr about any medicated creams you want to use since you will absorb those medications. Better safe than sorry!!!

What are good creams for reducing stretch marks?
I am 19 years old and ive had stretch marks since puberty and those are like a white color,lighter that my skin. And now that im pregnant, almost due, i have red stretch marks. Ive tried palmers pregnancy cream thoughtout my pregnancy but didnt work. Any suggestions?
Bio Oil is good stuff, as previously posted. through out my pregnancy, i used olive oil to rub on my belly and didnt get any stretch marks at all. you shud try doing this now, to prevent any further scarring. after ur bub is born, try the bio oil, as there wont be any pressure on the skin at that time and it will help the oil do its job, and maybe try palmers scar serrum. ive used this before for a few scars, and the stretch marks on my breasts and to good effect. everyone has different skin types tho... and it depends on how severe the stretch marks are. DEAR MAYO CLINIC: I'm taking an antidepressant and am concerned that when my doctor instructs me to quit taking it I'll go through withdrawal. Can this happen? What can I expect?
ANSWER: It can happen, but when withdrawal symptoms occur, they're usually -- but not always -- mild and can often be reduced or avoided by tapering off the medication.
It's estimated that withdrawal symptoms can occur in about 10 to 20 percent of people who abruptly stop antidepressant therapy after taking it for longer than six weeks. In addition, it's more likely to occur with antidepressant medications that are more quickly metabolized, such as paroxetine (Paxil) and venlafaxine (Effexor). Withdrawal is less of a problem with longer-acting drugs such as fluoxetine (Prozac).
Symptoms of withdrawal usually occur within days of drug discontinuation. They may include flu-like signs and symptoms such as fatigue, aches, diarrhea and nausea, insomnia, a dizzy or off-balance feeling, sensations of electric shocks, anxiety, or agitation. It's thought that severe withdrawal symptoms may be related to factors other than withdrawal, such as a re-emergence of depression. More typically, if depression does recur, it returns gradually and takes many weeks to develop.
If your doctor feels that stopping your antidepressant drug is in your best interest, be sure to develop with your doctor a plan for tapering off.
